      1. Thank you +Mark, our ministry one the years has focused on communicating the Christian message to Muslims, and this is a good place for that vocation. I also serve as deacon at the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer and teach from time to time at colleges/seminaries. Peace. If you ever come to Madrid let me know. –Duane+

  1. ‘Sub conditione’ means ‘under condition’ or ‘conditionally’. If one, e.g., is in doubt that baptism has been bestowed, there are three choices: do nothing (and risk leaving the person unbaptized); or baptize the person (and risk repeating a sacrament that cannot be repeated); or, bestow baptism conditionally: ‘If thou art not already baptized, I baptize thee in the name of the Father, etc.’ In the case of sacraments that bestow a permanent sacramental character, such as ordination, such conditional form is appropriate when there is a doubt about the prior sacramental act. Deliberate repetition of a sacrament of character is sacrilegious, though repetition by honest mistake is not. Still, usually when doubt exists, one avoids the problem by conditional form. +MDH
